Disney shows it's "gratitude" to George Lucas by not inviting him to the premiere of Star Wars Episode 9: The Rise Of Skywalker. After all he is only the mere CREATOR of the Star Wars franchise. According to Disney George Lucas is not as important to Star Wars as other filmmakers like Spike Lee whose contribution to Star Wars is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and Steven Spielberg whose sole contribution to Star Wars is the MISCASTING of Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
